Kerwin Walton has been added to the Oklahoma City Thunder summer league roster with games beginning at the Salt Lake City Summer League and California Summer League, and playing out over the next three days before shifting to Las Vegas for NBA 2K26 Summer League from July 10-20.
The Thunder play at 6 p.m. against Memphis in Salt Lake City with the game being broadcast on ESPNU. Chance McMillian, who signed an Exhibit-10 contract with Golden State last week, is with the Warriors who play at 5:30 p.m. against the Los Angeles Lakers on ESPN2 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Walton joins the Thunder summer league roster after playing three seasons at Texas Tech and finishing his collegiate career with 943 points and make 232 3-pointers (41.9 percent). He started every game last season, helping the Red Raiders advance to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight and finishing his fifth-year senior campaign with 63 3-pointers and averaging 6.0 points per game. Walton scored a career-high 28 points by making eight 3-pointers in a win over UNC Wilmington in the NCAA Tournament First Round.
The NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025 will feature all 30 NBA teams and take place July 10-20 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. All 76 games of the 11-day competition will air live on ESPN platforms (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+ and ESPN3) or NBA TV. Every game will also be available to stream on the ESPN App.
Each team will play at least five games at NBA 2K26 Summer League 2025, the first four from July 10-17. After each team's first four games, the top four teams will advance to participate in the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader on Saturday, July 19 at 4 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. ET on ESPN. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on Sunday, July 20 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The four playoff teams and their seeds for playoff games will be determined by winning percentage in each team's first four games, with tiebreaker criteria available here. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on either Friday, July 18, July 19 or July 20.
