BCSNN — Kanye Clary scored 20 points, including 17 in the second half, to lead Oklahoma State past Davidson 84–80 in the NIT first round Tuesday night. The Cowboys (20–14) rallied from a 10‑point halftime deficit to secure their 20th win of the season and advance to the tournament’s second round.

Clary shot 6‑for‑14 from the field, hit three of his five attempts from beyond the arc, and went 5‑for‑7 at the free‑throw line. Benjamin Ahmed added 16 points and six rebounds, while Christian Coleman provided 15 points on 5‑of‑7 shooting and went 4‑for‑5 at the line.

Davidson (20–14) was led by Roberts Blums, who scored a game‑high 22 points. Parker Friedrichsen added 16 points and three steals, and Josh Scovens finished with 10 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Oklahoma State trailed 50–40 at halftime despite nine first‑half points from Ahmed. The Cowboys surged after the break behind Clary’s aggressive scoring, outpacing the Wildcats in the final minutes to complete the comeback.

Oklahoma State advances to face its next NIT opponent later this week.
