Florida Atlantic Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley formulated a goal-committed staff one year ago upon taking the helm of the Owls. The second-year head coach has announced that his staff has remained intact and will move into the spring practice season with continuity.
Defensive Tackles Coach Devin Santana will add run game coordination to his duties serving as the Owls' run game coordinator and defensive tackles coach. He will welcome the return of a strong nucleus with multiple players, who earned significant snaps last season and includes 2025 team captain and sack leader C.J. Doggette Jr.
Bryson Breeding also returns to the football strength & conditioning staff and has been elevated to associate head strength & conditioning coach.
Boca Raton native Margot Kessler completed her first season with the football staff after beginning her career supporting the team on its academic front. Kessler will add the additional responsibilities of working more directly with Coach Kittley and will serve as the assistant director of football operations & recruiting and assistant to the head coach.
Ciara Celestino and Raleigh Illig are two who served as athletic training fellows a year ago and have been elevated to assistant athletic trainers
New additions to Coach Kittley's staff include Xavier Dampeer, a former Auburn Tiger offensive lineman, who will serve as assistant strength & conditioning coach. Josh Geller, a graduate of the FAU Sport Management MBA program has been named assistant director of video & technology and finally Dylan Heinen, who joined FAU Athletics last year as graphic designer, moves to football as the team's director of football creative.
