Kuony Deng was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Monday for his performance in the Golden Bears' 21-17 home win over No. 23/21/20 Oregon on Saturday at California Memorial Stadium. Deng is the first Cal player to win a weekly honor from the Pac-12 since Evan Weaver earned his second of last season on September 23, 2019.

Student-athletes from Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Texas collected accolades for their performances in Week 13.
Iowa State’s Brock Purdy was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, while Oklahoma State’s Amen Ogbongbemiga earned Defensive Player of the Week. A pair of Longhorns picked up awards, as D’Shawn Jamison earned Special Teams Player of the Week and Bijan Robinson Newcomer of the Week.

K-State honored 21 seniors on Saturday afternoon, a group that has led the Wildcats to more than a few memorable wins in Manhattan.
Senior Day was not one of them, as K-State (4-6, 4-5 Big 12) fell 69-31 to Texas (6-3, 5-3 Big 12) in its regular season finale at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
