The Big 12 Conference’s weekly awards honored standout performances from Friday’s and Saturday’s action. Arizona’s Ismail Mahdi and Cincinnati’s Brendan Sorsby (offensive) received accolades in addition to Arizona State’s Jordan Crook and Texas Tech’s Brice Pollock (defensive). Houston’s Ethan Sanchez and Palmer Williams from Baylor (special teams) were also recognized alongside TCU wideout Ed Small (freshman).

The University of Hawai'i football team will host rival Fresno State for the final time as Mountain West members in a match-up between 3-1 teams, Saturday, Sept. 20 at Clarence T.C. Ching Complex. Kickoff is 6:00 p.m. The Rainbow Warriors are 2-0 in their current three-game homestand and have won their last four at Ching Complex. The Bulldogs who have won three straight after a season-opening loss to Kansas, will move to the Pac-12 Conference next season.
