Michael Norman and Allyson Felix both won 4x400m relay gold medals, their second medals of the games, to highlight USC's efforts during the final day of the 2022 World Athletics Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Trojan athletes won a total of 11 medals at these World Championships, which would have ranked second overall if USC had competed as a country. USC students earned seven gold, one silver and three bronze medals during the world competition.

Michael Norman (USC, 2019) ran the second leg for USA's winning men's 4x400m relay team which posted a world-leading time of 2:56.17. It was Norman's second gold medal of the games, winning the individual 400m gold medal on July 22.
Allyson Felix (USC, 2008) did not run in the 4x400m relay final for USA today, but by virtue of her running in the prelims yesterday, earned her second gold of these games and 20th of her career. She earned a bronze on July 15 in the mixed 4x400m relay. Nicole Yeargin (USC, 2021) ran the second leg for Great Britain's 4x400m relay team which earned a bronze medal with a time of 3:22.64. Kyra Constantine (USC, 2021) anchored Canada's 4x400m relay which placed fourth with a time of 3:25.18.
