    As the first set of collegiate all-star games get underway this week, Syracuse Football will be well represented. Airon Servais represented the Orange at the College Gridiron Showcase, which is the nation's first major collegiate all-star event of the college football postseason.

    Matthew Cleveland, who earned his first career double double in Florida State’s victory over NC State on Saturday, was named the ACC Freshman of the Week by the conference office.  It’s the first time in his career that he has earned the honor, and is the first time this season a Seminole has been honored as a weekly All-Star by the conference office.

Maryland's 54 points is the most points ever scored in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl and most by a Terrapin team in a bowl game.

    Cornerback Mario Goodrich forced a key fumble on fourth down with 33 seconds to play as No. 19/22 Clemson withstood a late rally to claim the 2021 Cheez-It Bowl, 20-13, over Iowa State (7-6) at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. The win was Clemson’s 10th of the season, marking the 11th-consecutive year in which the Tigers (10-3) have won 10 or more games. Clemson won its final six games of the season.

    Air Force football defeated Louisville (6-7), 31-28, Tuesday afternoon at the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The Falcons finished the 2021 season with a 10-3 record, reaching double-digit wins for the second time in three seasons and the ninth time in program history.

  • Brent Pry Accepts the Challenge of Trying to Rebuild Virginia Tech Hokies Football

    Virginia Tech President Tim Sands and Director of Athletics Whit Babcock announced that Brent Pry has accepted the Virginia Tech Football head coaching position. The Altoona, Pennsylvania, native joins the Hokies after serving the past eight seasons as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Penn State. Pry returns to Blacksburg after working as a defensive graduate assistant for the Hokies from 1995-97 under head coach Frank Beamer and defensive coordinator Bud Foster.
