    The No. 1/1/1 University of Alabama football team won its 41st bowl game on New Year's Eve, defeating No. 4/4/4 Cincinnati, 27-6, in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the 2021 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas Friday.

    The UCF men's basketball team (9-2, 1-0) capitalized on the energy of 9,358 strong at Addition Financial Arena Thursday night to run away with a second-half lead and fend off visiting Michigan (7-5, 1-1) by a score of 85-71.
