    Led by unanimous Defensive Player of the Year junior cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and repeat Offensive Player of the Year senior quarterback Desmond Ridder, the No. 3/4-ranked Cincinnati football team placed a league-high 12 Bearcats on the All-American Athletic Conference First Team on Wednesday.

    The 4-1 UCF men's basketball team will try to have a short memory as the Knights aim to bounce back from a close weekend loss to Oklahoma with another big game against No. 21/20 Auburn (5-1) on the road. UCF will travel to Auburn for an 8 p.m. clash with the Tigers.

  • ECU Pirates Football Accepts Bid to the Military Bowl with an ACC Opponent to be Announced

    East Carolina University will represent the American Athletic Conference in the 2021 Military Bowl presented by Peraton, benefiting the USO. The Pirates will make their first bowl appearance since the 2014 season against an opponent from the Atlantic Coast Conference on Monday, December 27 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on ESPN.

    The University of South Florida Bulls (2-1) trailed by double digits with under seven minutes remaining to North Carolina A&T State (0-3) on Monday night at the Yuengling Center. The Bulls answered the bell with a 17-3 run from there, including 10-unanswered points over the final 1:51 on the clock, and secured a 56-54 comeback win when Javon Greene (McDonough, Ga.) nailed a three-pointer with 12 seconds left in the contest.
