Indiana University men's basketball coach Mike Woodson has announced that Hoosier great Calbert Cheaney, who spent the last three years as an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers, will join his staff as Director of Player Development in a non-recruiting coaching role.

DeLonnie Hunt, a 2023 Third Team All-NEC honoree at Wagner, will transfer to Richmond and play for the Spiders this upcoming season. Hunt, who has totaled 732 points and made 72 starts at Wagner over the last three seasons, has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
