(BCSNN) — The Broncos are postseason bound. Western Michigan is going bowling.

The Broncos punched their postseason ticket Tuesday night with a gritty 17–13 comeback win over defending MAC champion Ohio at Stafford-Smith Field at Waldo Stadium. It marks WMU’s third win this season when trailing at halftime and secures bowl eligibility for the first time under head coach Lance Taylor.

(BCSNN) — We see it happen every year - a coach gets fired from a big time job, and that school tries to find a way to pay less than the buyout that was agreed to in the coach's contract. LSU is the latest to try it, but will face a fight from former LSU head coach Brian Kelly. Kelly has filed a lawsuit against the university’s board of supervisors, alleging that LSU is attempting to retroactively fire him “for cause” in order to avoid paying the nearly $54 million buyout stipulated in his contract.

(BCSNN) — Alabama leaned on its defense and timely execution to take down LSU 20–9 in front of a sold-out crowd at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night. The win extended the Crimson Tide’s home winning streak to 17 games, the longest active streak in the nation.

Texas Tech led the way with four honorees in the Big 12’s weekly football awards for Week 11 alongside winners from Arizona, UCF, Iowa State and West Virginia. The running back tandem of Arizona’s Quincy Craig and Texas Tech’s Cameron Dickey (offensive) were honored with UCF’s Phillip Dunnam and Texas Tech’s Jacob Rodriguez (defensive).
