The University of Texas continues its 129th season of football on Saturday when the Longhorns meet Rice at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas enters the game with 924 wins, the fourth-most in college football history. UT holds an all-time record of 924-378-33 (.704).

The UTEP football team will hit the road to play on the blue turf at Boise State on Friday, Sept. 10. The Miners and Broncos are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. MT in Albertsons Stadium. The contest will be televised on FS1, while it marks the first trip back to Boise since the 2003 season.

Louisiana Tech head coach Skip Holtz announced the signing of kicker/punter Cesar Barajas (Arcadia, Fla./Southern).

Barajas, a 6-1, 215-pound kicker/punter, spent the last three seasons at Southern University. Barajas appeared in five games during the 2020-21 season where he was 4-for-4 in field goals and 24-for-24 in point after attempts.
