    The Tulane men's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the year with a convincing 58-38 win over Southern Miss on Wednesday evening at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

    Tulane's defensive effort paved the way for the Green Wave's fourth consecutive win over Southern Miss (1-2), as they held the Golden Eagles to just 24.5 percent shooting from the field.

    WKU Hilltopper Basketball will play its first home game of the season at E.A. Diddle Arena against Mississippi Valley State at 2 p.m. CT Sunday. The Hilltoppers have played four games away from home to open the year, including three neutral-site games and a 75-54 loss at Louisville on Tuesday.

  • C-USA Announces Change for Charlotte’s Final Regular-Season Game

    Conference USA has announced a change to the football schedule for the final week of the regular season.
        
    Charlotte will travel to Marshall to face the Thundering Herd, Friday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. The Charlotte-Marshall game was originally scheduled for Sat., Nov. 21. The game will be available on the CBS Sports Network.

    Rice's defense intercepted five Grant Wells passes and held Marshall's high-scoring offense to just 245 yards of offense as the Owls earned its first victory over a ranked opponent since 1997, shutting out the 15th-ranked Thundering Herd, 20-0.
