    The UCF men's basketball team (9-2, 1-0) capitalized on the energy of 9,358 strong at Addition Financial Arena Thursday night to run away with a second-half lead and fend off visiting Michigan (7-5, 1-1) by a score of 85-71.

  • Maryland Dominates Virginia Tech From Start to Finish in the Pinstripe Bowl, 54-10

    It was a record-setting day for Maryland as the Terps won the 2021 New Era Pinstripe Bowl with a dominating 54-10 victory over Virginia Tech on Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. Maryland's 54 points is the most points ever scored in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl and most by a Terrapin team in a bowl game.

    Kansas State turned to its reliable defense to grind out another road victory, as the Wildcats held Nebraska to more than 17 points under its scoring average in a 67-58 win on Sunday night before a sold-out crowd of 15,043 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

  • Danny Manning's Maryland Terrapins Took Down the No. 20 Florida Gators, 70-68

    The Maryland men's basketball team won its first game under interim head coach Danny Manning as it took down the No. 20 Florida Gators 70-68 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational. The Terps (6-4) were led by Eric Ayala (19 points) and Fatts Russell (19 points) as the guard-duo combined for 38 points.

  • NC State Men's Basketball Falls to the Top-Ranked Purdue Boilermakers in Overtime

    The NC State men's basketball team never trailed in regulation but top-ranked Purdue forced overtime in the final minute and then ran away in overtime to win, 82-72, Sunday afternoon in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational played at the Barclays Center.

  • Michigan's Jake Moody Named the Lou Groza Award Winner Ahead of the CFB Playoff

    Senior kicker Jake Moody of the No. 2-ranked University of Michigan football team was named the winner of the 2021 Lou Groza Award, presented annually to the top collegiate placekicker in the nation by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. Moody is the first-ever winner from the Michigan program.

    Michigan State junior running back Kenneth Walker III made history Thursday night, becoming the first Spartan ever to win the prestigious Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. The nation's fourth-oldest college football honor, given by the Walter Camp Football Foundation dating back to 1967, was announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN.
