De'Montre Tuggle concluded the game with 78 rushing yards and one touchdown. On defense, Alvin Floyd finished with 12 tackles, while Will Evans, Bryce Houston and Jack McCroy had a combined two sacks.

The Miami University football team remained perfect at home with a 45-18 victory over Buffalo Tuesday, earning their 13th straight victory at Yager Stadium. The dominating combination of Jack Sorenson and Brett Gabbert, plus key plays from multiple defensive players, proved too much for the Bulls, with Miami picking up six touchdowns compared to Buffalo's two.

Bowling Green's placekicker Nate Needham was named the MAC East Division Special Teams Player of the Week honors for games played through Oct. 17, announced the Mid-American Conference. It is the second career honor for Needham and second this season.
