With a leap and a sprint, Rocco Becht helped secured a victory that pointed Iowa State back in the right direction.

Becht jumped to corral a high snap and sped 15 yards up the middle for a touchdown with 4:04 left, part of a big second half that brought an end to a two-game losing streak with a 34-17 victory over Cincinnati at MidAmerican Field at Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday night.

The University of Memphis football team earned its ninth win of the season in the 17th all-time edition of The Battle for the Bones, 53-18, over UAB on Senior Day at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. With the victory, the Tigers completed an undefeated season at home for the first time since 2020.
