(BCSNN) — The Southeastern Conference has permanently suspended longtime football referee Ken Williamson following a series of controversial calls during the Oct. 11 Auburn–Georgia game, according to multiple reports. The decision comes after the SEC received 11 formal complaints about Williamson and his officiating crew, nine of which were reportedly upheld during the league’s internal review.

(BCSNN) — The University of Delaware football team held off a late surge from Middle Tennessee to secure a 31–28 victory Wednesday night at Delaware Stadium. The win, broadcast nationally on ESPN2, lifted the Fightin’ Blue Hens to 4–3 overall and 2–2 in Conference USA play, while the Blue Raiders dropped to 1–6 (0–3 CUSA).

(BCSNN) — No. 24 Arizona State will be without its top offensive weapon Saturday when the Sun Devils face Houston, as wide receiver Jordyn Tyson has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Head coach Kenny Dillingham confirmed the news Wednesday, saying the decision was made to protect Tyson from further risk after he played through the injury in last week’s win over No. 14 Texas Tech.
